every once in a while, we take on something other than a wedding. we don’t get to do sweet sixteens often but they are always fun. so when dawn and her daughter heather came to us, we were excited to see what their vision was. the party was at addison park, which is where i am going to be getting married, so it is a special place for me. connor did the photography at the party and it came out amazing. he sent me a few of the photos today and i was so excited to post them. so here they are. happy sweet sixteen heather!

this may first was a special day for endless wave. we were invited to shoot renee and paul’s wedding. the reason it was so special was not because it was someone famous, or a destination wedding, or anything of that nature. it was special because of the friendship formed with this amazing couple. over the last six months or so, we spent quite a bit of time with them. i was able to go with paul to his job. he works at dolby and he goes to premieres of movies and makes the audio sound perfect. he took me to the premiere of the pacific, which was just so cool and i got to help with the audio, and setting up projectors which was so much fun for me. ben and i went to dinner with them several times, and we hung out at their house with them too, going over all of their wedding day events. we went to the reception hall to see paul’s brilliant vision.
last night was enriched with the love that we have for renee and paul, and it was a wedding that we cared so much about. the whole team was there last night. ben, dave, ryan, ashley, and myself witnessed the most unbelievable light show including fog, and a screen that was fit for a movie theater. paul was responsible for the sizable light show, and is going to start a company based on providing this type of entertainment at weddings for a reasonable cost.
we showed this same day edit at 11pm on a giant screen to rave reviews. impressing paul is not easy, but when he hugged me after it played, i knew we achieved our goal. i am so proud of our team and the way we pulled this day together for renee and paul. here is their SDE. enjoy.

tomorrow is our 50th wedding of the year. wow. we are so excited for jacqueline and glen, and we are also excited for a brake before our first one of next year on january 30 2010. so after kelly and nick’s weathered wedding last week, we are hoping for some calm weather this week.
we are just so excited that we have been able to enjoy so many couple’s weddings with them. i know from my experience in wedding film making that each couple is unique and has their own amazing personality, and that is why we come to work every day. i truly enjoy all of you, and i hope to be able to provide you all with amazing imagery of your wedding that will last forever.
our newest endeavor is photography. ben tapper is our lead photographer, and i know how proud of this company he is. the best thing about ben, besides his awesome shooting, is his personality. i cannot wait for you all to meet him, and i know that those who already have, fell in love with his photos and his easy going personality.
ryan gordon…he just might be the bright future of endless wave scratch that. he is. ryan is so determined to be a talent in this industry, and his ability to shoot, edit and interact is just perfect.
we have also added ashley priddy to the mix just recently. she is a fantastic photographer who is young and full of creative ideas. a strong background in design means that many of your albums will be designed by her.
i guess overall, that we are really finding new reasons every day to do what we do. those reasons always come back to how amazing our couples are. it is one thing to document someone’s wedding, but another to become a family. my friend jessalyn called me today just to say hi and chat. she and donnie had their wedding last march, and still stay in contact with us. i love that.
50 weddings this year. it is a heavy workload, but worth it. thank you to all of you, and have a great holiday!

As we begin a new chapter in our evolution as a company, we have upgraded our website, and now the blog as well. We will be upgrading this blog more as we find what we desire out of our design, but this is a great start. Now, we have to add things from scratch, so here are just a few short films for you to enjoy. Keep checking back for more, and the website will be updated often as well. Thanks for stopping by!

Yesterday 500 brides and their posses descended on the Poland Springs Arena/ Ritacco Center at Toms River High School North for a bridal show put on by Wedding Set Go. So Greg, Ryan, Carmine, and I all headed over to set up a booth. Carmine is a friend of Greg who helped build our display (and it was sah-weet) Both Ryan and I were new comers to Bridal shows, but we had a blast. The title of this entry is “We get paid to do this?” because part of the way through the day I found myself asking that. Not only do I love taking pictures, but I love meeting with and talking to new people. Anyone really within arm’s reach, and we got to meet some really awesome brides to be (and a few of their groom to be counter-parts). The reaction to our material was great, several people returned to the booth multiple times just to see more. It was a great feeling, getting to meet all these new interesting people that we can invest in, and hopefully give them the best possible experience for their wedding day. So if you were there and are reading this, that means you! Call us, really! I’m not kidding!
Ben Out.
