Wedding Wire :: Bride’s Choice Award

Hey gang, we want to say thank you, once again to our amazing couples for leaving great reviews all year, thus making us a 2012 Bride’s Choice Award recipient. We were given this award in 2010 and 2011 also, so this proves our dedication to strong customer service and a friendly atmosphere on top of our amazing photos and films. I say amazing, not because I think we are the best, but because the imagery we are producing truly does amaze me. I am so proud of our team here and the progress we are making every day. Lets have an amazing 2012!
::Greg

YEP…IM GONNA BE A DAD. SCARED?

Woah baby….yes I am waiting the arrival of my son Mason. With just a week and a few days until our due date, we are gearing up. Literally. I have all if our clothes and survival stuff packed (thanks to my wife) and my “Hospital Camera Bag” (a much scaled down version of what I bring to weddings) packed and ready to go. My last shoot before Mason comes was last night. We shot a Save The Date for Anthony and Vanessa. Anthony works for Apple and so naturally we shot an iPad commercial for them! I am working on the edit now, and I am VERY excited to show you all. Soon soon soon. Keep your pants on people.

LASSIK PRIDE :: The Making of Our Team Shirts

Lassik Pride is my team for the November 6, 2011 Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk in Pennsauken, NJ. May 29, 2011 my father passed away after a long battle with the disease and my family and I are now joining the fight to find a cure for PC. PC is a deadly cancer with a very low survival rate. Steve Jobs and Patrick Swayze both passed away from the disease. Even money cannot help for long with PC. I am asking everyone to join us in making the my dad’s life with every second, and donate even one dollar to fighting the cancer that took him from us. He was a kind man, who loved my mother and me and my brother more than himself. He is the reason I have Endless Wave. He was my biggest fan. I miss him dearly and will fight for a cure for the rest of my life.

Here is how you can get involved:

Make a donation, small, big…anything helps! Thank you!

A huge thanks goes to Jack and Bryan from FukitT Clothing and NexBrand. Without them, these shirts would cost us too much to have made. They donated their expertise and their time because they wanted to be a part of this fundraiser. Thank you will never say how I truly feel about what they did for us. check out their work at: FukitT Clothing

Your Same Day Edit

Hey all,
Ben here, I’m actually going to write quickly about Same Day Edits (confused? read on.) Leading up things photographically here at EW is great, and I love it, but getting to see what Greg does with his cinema work can be down-right inspiring. I am going through a wedding of one of our super-great couples, Tim and Tara. I found this frame from when they were watching their Same Day Edit, and it really just summarized the experience in my eyes. Laughter, emotion, friends and family gathered around to see the story of the day that most people don’t normally get to be a part of. If you aren’t familiar with same day edits, check them out. You can check out the actual video HERE That’s all for now, a photo blog post to accompany this post coming soon

.yup, we’re 10 years old.

Ten years ago, I started a little company in hopes that I could make a living filming things like weddings. Here we are in 2011 and I am proud of what we have achieved over a decade. I cannot believe the way it has come together.

My father bought me my first camera. He worked tirelessly to be able to do that for me. I was just a 19 year old with no money and I knew I wanted to do this. He was good enough to me to take a chance on spending all that money. He would never let me pay him back. A great man, the best father.

When I started this company, my dream was to provide people a way to relive their wedding day in a creative and artistic way. I never thought we’d be making the amazing films that we are capable of now. I am so amazed that the industry has become so great. We now have the tools to make a better film than ever before. I am very proud to be a part of such a fine group of people.

I want to thank every single one of our couples from the past 10 years Starting with Rebecca and Scott Condon. They were the very first wedding that EWS shot. They now have children, and whenever I see them they have a smile on their faces. It makes me happy that they have come so far just like this little company. My hopes are that all of our couples have the same happiness that Becky and Scott have.

Moving forward, I hope that we continue to grow in terms becoming an even better company and also becoming even better at our craft. Thank you all for being a part of this awesome adventure.
