My darling wife has wonderful friends. All of you Brides and Grooms out there know what it’s like when you merge into your significant other’s social circles. Melissa and Ryan went to Penn State with Lizzy, which is where I met them. They are great people, and I was so excited when I learned I was shooting their wedding. Quick fun fact, Melissa and Ryan were high school sweet-hearts! This was also my first newly-geared wedding (made the switch to canon, now have an alienbee’s strobe amongst other new goodness) I Have about 3 blog posts  in queue, so keep checking!

One of the cool things about owning a wedding studio is you get two photo previews when you get married (I think the union fought for that one) But in all seriousness, Christina and Greg’s wedding was amazing. Like Connor said, great energy and enthusiasm all day, truly amazing to see two people be so happy to come together.  This is a small peak at my perspective on the day, enjoy.   -Ben

The magical day that Christina & Greg got married finally arrived a week and a half-ago, and it was remarkable.  The most enthusiastic, energetic wedding I have ever been a part of was almost too much fun.  It was a beautiful day, and we had all hands on deck; Konrad and his assistant from Canada came down to do their thing with video, with wingman Ryan, while Ben and I covered photo.  Having so many creative minds working together to make beautiful content for the wedding could sometimes lead to arguments, but it led to magic, with everybody bouncing ideas off of each other.  I look forward deeply to presenting the group of photos to Christina & Greg, I’m sure they will enjoy them as much as I do.  Not to mention the great work that Ben is throwing together right now.  Endlesswave kicked butt at the wedding, and there is nothing but progression to come.

Like you’ve seen in Greg’s post, we got to be a part of a really spectacular and unique wedding with Renee & Paul, as they are truly a unique couple. Everything I wanted to say pretty much Greg already got, so here’s the goods!

I’ve been a part of some fun wedding pit stops in my time, and April 30th had the best. We had been having a blast all day with Michelle and Dave, and their whole bridal party (Greg & Marty Mcfly hit it off real well) After the portrait session the crew decided they were hungry and set off to consume a New Jersey Coastal classic, Windmill Hotdogs.  Me personally, I’d pass up a 3 star restaurant for a greasy spoon most any day of the week, so needless to say I was excited when I heard where we were going.  All of the bridal party, 2 photographers, 1 cinematographer, and some parents all crowded into the tiny windmill on Main st. In Long Branch. Seeing the reactions of the staff and patrons of suit and dress clad wedding goers stop in was priceless, and there was a lot of fun had, and a lot of food eaten (they even let me behind the counter, thanks guys!) This is why we love our couples, they’re fun, unique, and make our job easier by letting us photograph the results. Take a look, and for some non hot dog related pictures of Michelle and Dave, you can check out our Facebook fan page. And if you’re not already a fan, join up!
